The following settings will allow unidentified applications to be downloaded

Select Apple > System Preferences and under the Personal section, select Security and Privacy.
- In the Security and Privacy pane, click Lock on the bottom-left and enter your Mac OS X username and password (local user account).
- Click Unlock.
- Select the radio button next to Anywhere, under the Allow applications downloaded from section and then click Allow from Anywhere.
- You can now install the application for your Mac without it being blocked.
NOTE: Reconfigure the Gatekeeper settings once you have completed updating or installing your required applications. This will only allow applications downloaded from the Mac App Store and identified developers.
Reconfigure your Gatekeeper settings
- Select Apple > System Preferences and under the Personal section, select Security and Privacy.
- In the Security and Privacy pane, click Lock on the bottom-left and enter your Mac OS X username and password (local user account).
- Click Unlock.
- Select the radio button next to Mac App Store and identified developers, under the Allow applications downloaded from section.
- Exit and close the Security and Privacy dialog box.
